    i just bought a dell inspiron 6400 with a ATi Radeon Mobility X1400 with Hypermemory and im just wondering:
    a) what games can it play well (modern games like css, etc.)
    b) how long do you think this video card will last me for games?

    FEAR.FARCRY,CS,CSS,Quake4, WOW, Warcraft, basically 99% games released before apr/may 2006.
    It will last u till u play these games only :)))))

    ALL modern games EXCLUDING upcoming games. But the setting are only limited to low-med with and without the AA and AF plus special effects in some cases.

    install the latest drivers, and it will play modern games at low-med settings. As far as how long it will last you, that depends on you alone. As long as a game boots and plays on ultra low res and settings is how long it will last; but that also depends on how low youll go on your settings before you get sick of playing.
