Soo, anyone have any experience on these games?

    Alice (quake 3 era)
    Morrowind ESIII (NOT oblivion)
Heroes of Might and Magic 5
    Civ 4
    Sims 2
Myst 5 or some crap like that
    Longest Journey

And any others that you may've played while using this card.

BF2? 1492? HL2? Fear? Don't give a crap about any newer FPS and mostly not any older ones either. (meaning I don't care about these games one bit)

So don't say "That card sucks for gaming" When you really mean "That card sucks for any intense new FPS" which of course wouldn't bother me one bit.

I've mentioned Spore as my wish list because that's what I'll probably be playing next year and I wouldn't want to get shut out.

The 6150 is pretty weak and around the same power as the X200. My old X200 played FEAR at 800x600 kinda medium settings/ 640x480 medium settings.
Will play anything older than FEAR quite well. Med settings at decent resolution.

Will the 6150 play Age of Empires III?

I've seen firsthand that the Go6150 (in a HP dv4000) can and will run Trackmania Nations and WoW at reasonable 30fps+ when heavily tweaked (lowest settings). Can't comment on other games though.

All the games in the first list should run acceptably, though maybe not at the highest detail settings. BF2, doubtful. BF1942, it will probably run alright. HL2 and FEAR will possibly run at very low settings, but even then, not too well.

You are right about FEAR but it runs HL2 fine, at well above minimum settings. BF2 does work, but on low settings.

Yep HL2 will run ok. Then again, a lot of things run HL2 ok.

Hmm.. well, I'll probably stick with whatever integrated option is best at the time. It'd be nice if they up it a bit for vista but it sounds like the 6150 will be ok. Hell I bet Spore is just CPU intensive anyway

Why not? Care to back that up a bit? It doesn't even look good from the screenshots (like texture details and such), and this is EA Maxis we're talking about, they have a "sell to EVERYONE" mentality. They're not like silly FPS devs/publishers that only cater to the high end. Look at Sims/Sims 2. High cpu requirements if you don't have a good video card, which is probably most of their market. They're not stupid, there's a good reason it sells so well.

Because it's so rediculously easy and requires no skill or reaction time?

Yeah well gaming isn't always about being difficult or realistic. EA certainly thinks a lot of people enjoy it :) They're laughing all the way to the bank.

And the ultimate reason EA makes so much money? Because people do enjoy it. :)

I own a hp dv6409 wm and i honestly cant complain about this graphics chip at all, This thing runs Unreal Tournament 3 ( not too shabbily either), I ve had no issues with WoW at all, pretty much everything that I ve thrown at it it runs and with no issues. Frets on fire runs good, as far as Oblivion and all that other crap i dont play those games so that doesnt matter to me he [IMG]h.

Theres a screen shot of me running Unreal 3 on Texture setting 3 runs at about 15-30 fps I ve got no complaints
