The Descent series gave me headspins.

The Jedi Knight series gave me vertigo in some of the sequences.

And I get sick just thinking about Crysis. All that money I had to spend in upgrades just play that silly game!

@icecubez189, I did threw up for those 2 games plus half life 2 as well. (but my stomach was empty)
is it possible has to do with the graphic cards? if the games can run 40+fps then maybe I wouldn't got as much headache

smoother framerates would definately help. if you have motion sickness though, that could be why. he's gotten used to FPS games though but still gets the slight headache after 20 or 30 minutes of gameplay. at least no puke this time, eh?

I'm always playing FPS's. Suprisingly the first game i got motion sickness was Call of Duty 4. It was awkward since the movements are realistic. The way you sprint, jump over fences, walk, etc. I quickly got over it though.

UT 3 hands down for me. you have to run around while chasing some guy and kill him 10 times over before you win. chasing the same guy on the same map that hurts your eyes

I remember that when I was playing Quake 3, I'd get a headache if I set the maximum frames per second over 125. Haven't noticed it on FPS games since, maybe because I've never been able to run these new ones on any framerates over that :p

The original Half-Life. I never finished it because of it. I am back playing it again after all these years though, and only if I play more than an hour does it start to make me feel funny. Maybe my refresh on my monitor 10 years ago had something to do with it possibly?

I think those that get sick with like Half-Life, Half-Life 2, or Prey, its the lack of swagger. It's almost like you're on gliding on ice or something. If a game swaggers like you are actually running or walking, it doesn't bother me as much.

You need a big screen or a multi monitor setup and a game that has alot of POV changes like a flght simulator, or a game like sewer shark could make people dizzy.

Anybody remember sewer shark besides me? That was one of the first Sega CD games.

I get dizzy from games that have excessive head bobbing and motion blurr as you turn your head/camera.

I don't understand how people think its realistic for everything to go blurry when you move your head, either my eyes are awesome or I'm just weird because my vision only gets blurred from me moving my head when I'm looking at objects a couple of inches away, in some games you can be looking into the distance and when you turn your head the hills or whatever get all blurry.

Did anyone play Project Gotham Racing 3 on the xbox 360 and walk around the garage? Slowly walking around made everything blurred and distorted like you're turning your head at 300 miles per hour, I almost blacked out trying to look at a Lamborghini, was mental.

Also head bobbing when walking I don't understand, its like half the videogame characters have cerebral palsy or something.

All Doom games give me headaches.. even the original for PC. The game system (like N64 etc) also give me headaches. Dunno what's up with that but I stopped playing them and gave them all to my friend.

Cloverfield gave me nauseau...as does Crysis while sprinting and panning around...especially after 1 hour+....it gets to the point where I HAVE to stop playing...then I feel sick for like an hour after....its totally visual...as being on water or amusement park rides never make me sick...

I think what makes most people feel ill in Half Life and Half Life 2 are the strange FOV and POV angles. You can manually alter them using console commands, and I think that fixes the problem for most people.

Running up walls and on ceilings (on those convener belt things), in a firefight, while trying to keep your bearings.......gets a little confusing.

The Mario title for the Gamecube - I could play it in short intervals and never finished it.

The Darkness - played the demo off X360 and got queasy. I definitely have problems with games when they mess with the FOV/POV.

Half Life and Half Life 2 make me dizzy. Portal and Quake 2 made me kinda dizzy.

Counterstrike, Team Fortress 2, Quake 3, Doom games, and Unreal games are fine, I can play those forever.

I used to play wolfenstein 3D when it first came out a lot. If I tried to play it now, I'd probably die. The narrow hallways do me in.
