Just curious if you guys have this kind of experience before. for me, raindow six vega and doom 3. usually got headache within 10 mins with these 2 games.

WoW when u get drunk in game
omg i have to take a breather after doign that zoomed up really close -
a while back, my best friend threw up while we played 007 Golden Eye for N64. happens to a few people with FPS games
-
I used to get motion sick for Half Life: Blue Shift.
-
The Descent series gave me headspins.
The Jedi Knight series gave me vertigo in some of the sequences.
And I get sick just thinking about Crysis. All that money I had to spend in upgrades just play that silly game! -

I'd get sick from Crysis when I'd sprint and spin
-
Unless inebriated, I never get motion sickness from playing video/PC games.
-
@icecubez189, I did threw up for those 2 games plus half life 2 as well. (but my stomach was empty)
is it possible has to do with the graphic cards? if the games can run 40+fps then maybe I wouldn't got as much headache -
Oblivion made be dizzy,
-
@Signal2Noise, is crysis that bad
I was gonna buy it in few days.
-
-
smoother framerates would definately help. if you have motion sickness though, that could be why. he's gotten used to FPS games though but still gets the slight headache after 20 or 30 minutes of gameplay. at least no puke this time, eh?
-
-
I made a helmet cam video snowboarding through trees, if I watch it i get very sick with cold sweats, wonder why?
-
btw how do I know if I have motion sickness? I can play ghost recon, old rainbow six and battlefield for 4 hours straight without any problem.
-
-
Oh god, Cloverfield. I sat in the front row for that one.
-
half life 2 and PRey...alyways felt sick after them
-
I'm always playing FPS's. Suprisingly the first game i got motion sickness was Call of Duty 4. It was awkward since the movements are realistic. The way you sprint, jump over fences, walk, etc. I quickly got over it though.
-
Unreal Tournament 3...All the jumping, ect...
-
Halo on PC made me feel ill.
-
-
UT 3 hands down for me. you have to run around while chasing some guy and kill him 10 times over before you win. chasing the same guy on the same map that hurts your eyes
-
I remember that when I was playing Quake 3, I'd get a headache if I set the maximum frames per second over 125. Haven't noticed it on FPS games since, maybe because I've never been able to run these new ones on any framerates over that
-
The original Half-Life. I never finished it because of it. I am back playing it again after all these years though, and only if I play more than an hour does it start to make me feel funny. Maybe my refresh on my monitor 10 years ago had something to do with it possibly?
I think those that get sick with like Half-Life, Half-Life 2, or Prey, its the lack of swagger. It's almost like you're on gliding on ice or something. If a game swaggers like you are actually running or walking, it doesn't bother me as much. -
i could never play half life, the original one...after jumping here and there, i would start feeling dizzy...the same happened for UT 3...however i could play COD 4 and crysis well without a problem...

You need a big screen or a multi monitor setup and a game that has alot of POV changes like a flght simulator, or a game like sewer shark could make people dizzy.
Anybody remember sewer shark besides me? That was one of the first Sega CD games. -
I still cant handle DOS games properly, Duke 3D being the main culprit
-
Age of Conan beta.
The poor framerates within the city PvP staging area caused me to have epileptic siezures. -
I get dizzy from games that have excessive head bobbing and motion blurr as you turn your head/camera.
I don't understand how people think its realistic for everything to go blurry when you move your head, either my eyes are awesome or I'm just weird because my vision only gets blurred from me moving my head when I'm looking at objects a couple of inches away, in some games you can be looking into the distance and when you turn your head the hills or whatever get all blurry.
Did anyone play Project Gotham Racing 3 on the xbox 360 and walk around the garage? Slowly walking around made everything blurred and distorted like you're turning your head at 300 miles per hour, I almost blacked out trying to look at a Lamborghini, was mental.
Also head bobbing when walking I don't understand, its like half the videogame characters have cerebral palsy or something. -
-
The only time playing almost made me threw up was because the brightness was turned all the way up on my samsung lcd....
-
I feel weird when in Assassin`s Creed I do a leap of faith and have the sensation of free falling. My stomach stops for a sec
-
-
All Doom games give me headaches.. even the original for PC. The game system (like N64 etc) also give me headaches. Dunno what's up with that but I stopped playing them and gave them all to my friend.

Cloverfield gave me nauseau...as does Crysis while sprinting and panning around...especially after 1 hour+....it gets to the point where I HAVE to stop playing...then I feel sick for like an hour after....its totally visual...as being on water or amusement park rides never make me sick...
-
I think what makes most people feel ill in Half Life and Half Life 2 are the strange FOV and POV angles. You can manually alter them using console commands, and I think that fixes the problem for most people.
-
I never get sick anymore I take a few Dramamine before gaming, HARD CORE!!
-
Blazing Angels: Squadron of WWII 800*600 on my radeon 9250. all low setting. that is the only one i can think of so far cuz most of the games i played are 2D
-
Prey.
Running up walls and on ceilings (on those convener belt things), in a firefight, while trying to keep your bearings.......gets a little confusing. -
guitar hero did me in
-
wow sleepy, your signature is very impressive
-
Jedi Knights: Dark Forces II made me pretty sick after minutes.
-
-
i only got dizzy with Half Life 2, very dizzy
-
seems like i am not the only one sick with HL2 lol
-
The Mario title for the Gamecube - I could play it in short intervals and never finished it.
The Darkness - played the demo off X360 and got queasy. I definitely have problems with games when they mess with the FOV/POV. -
definatly half life 2. couldnt finish it.
has something to do with the viewing angle the game is played in or something.
anyone care to elaborate? -
Half Life and Half Life 2 make me dizzy. Portal and Quake 2 made me kinda dizzy.
Counterstrike, Team Fortress 2, Quake 3, Doom games, and Unreal games are fine, I can play those forever.
I used to play wolfenstein 3D when it first came out a lot. If I tried to play it now, I'd probably die. The narrow hallways do me in. -
Free falling gets me in any game. I just tried in Half Life 1 a free dive from a cliff. Wham, felt my stomach cursing
Games that make you dizzy?
