I know, but sometimes there has to be hope.![]()

hey, do games tend to be released in the fall?
why?
-
games release all year round. lol what are you talking about?
-
Well he's got a point. Games do tend to be released in fall especially in pre-christmas time. For example there weren't any interesting releases (for Xbox360 at least) this and last summer. Spring is also popular forreleases but not as much as fall and winter.
Anyway I can't wait to get my hands on
- Far Cry 2
- Fallout 3
- Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising
- Mafia 2
- BioShock 2
- Gears of War 2
- Alan Wake
and also
- Half-Life 2 Episode 3
- Splinter Cell Conviction
- Crysis Warhead
- Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway -
true... but most of the games are fall-born as i have noticed, at least the ones I play..
GTA series, Fifa seriers, Need for speed...
anyways, i do not care as long as i get the game before my system becomes outdated. lolz
-
btw, too sad for this gang to be separated:
Crysis, Bioshock, and Assassin's Creed.
I used to see them as a whole group because they all have the best graphics and great gameplay.. now, Crysis Warhead and Bioshock 2 are to be released, while AC is left out..
-
You must admit that Assassin's Creed wasn't a gem of a game. I mean the graphics were excelent but the gameplay sucked. In the whole freeking game there was only one mission repeating itself for ages! Hope the AC2 will be better.
-
Also interesting is that there are THREE Tom Clancy games due out in a similar timeframe (Q1 2009 most likely).
-
I agree... it does start to get boring after a while due to repeating the same missions. but the graphics will always attract me to the game.
-
btw, is the voice command system in End War gonna be the same for PC as it does for xbox 360?
-
Games are released in fall typically to be top of mind for the holiday season. Plus summer time is NOT best for selling new games because most people are out and about in the summer too.
I wish it wouldn't matter. But either way, unless a game is primarily multiplayer, I tend to wait and buy it later cheaper when there's nothing else much available. -
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.
...If nobody has mentioned it. -
Im looking forward to Diablo 3 and thats about it
-
Anyone ever play America's Army, it was the **** when it came out 6 years ago. AA 3.0 is supposed to be out by the end of 2008. It's getting a face lift too; they are using UE3. Just hope it doesn't get pushed over into 2009.
-
what's AA 3.0 btw?
-
I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say it's America's Army.
-
Far Cry 2 and Diablo 3 are interests to me.
-
And Sacred 2 - though thats sort of a knockoff, but its coming out much earlier
