    Hi guys
I am playing nfs run or doom 3 but games won't scale so they are not on full screen when setting lower resolution than 1920x1080 .. it is in square .. and I dont have option in nvidia settings to set scaling ...
Any idea how to set it ?
    Thnx

On my Nvidia Control Panel the scaling config is under Display->Adjust desktop size and position but it might be that you gotta check the Intel HD display settings because of how Optimus works i guess? Mines the old fashioned setup. :p

That sounds like an Intel GPU issue? If so then it is likely to do that. Only way to get it to stop is to set your desktop resolution something other than native (i.e. 1600x900 if your screen is 1080p native) go into settings, and set it to scale full screen. Then set back to native res. Now non-native res will run scaled full screen.

Right click on desktop > Graphics Options > Panel Fit > Maintain Display Scaling (can be set to on or off)

I've done that before, but I've had issues until I actually set the screen to a non native res, go into Intel graphics options and set the scaling, will it actually work.

Ah, apologies, my mistake. You need to turn the desktop resolution down to a non-native setting before you can select between the different scaling options (via the menu I explained previously).

I don't know why it doesn't work at native resolution. Very annoying, but it's been like this for a long, long while now. Infact, I can't remember if caling has ever worked at native resolution on Intel drivers. It's a limitation of their drivers.

I ve done it but that is setting for Intel HD
Anyway I realised it is not laptop problem but game problem am playing doom 3 and that game supports scaling in low resolutions actually .. but nfs run dont .. it needs probably modding in game files or registry ?

That's entirely an Intel GPU driver issue not a game or nVidia issue.

I know but game manufs. could implement feature toggle in game settings tho ..
Nvidia could keep this setting page below to make things easier ..
