I just purchased a Sony Z series Laptop with an external Power Dock. This Dock comes with an AMD Radeon™ HD 7670M video card. I played a couple of games with it and noticed the games sometimes lag. It's not continuous play. I was wondering if it's because of the AMD card being external? Or if it was due to having an older AMD driver? Or lastly if it was due to the game settings possibly being set too high? I did not change them manually. The games selected them for me.

Any input you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I don't think so, it's more likely that the issue is that the 7670M is not a very powerful graphics card. 1206.6 on 3Dmark11 is not very good. I recommend turning down graphics options.

The settings you're running the games at are too high. Turn them down or lower the resolution.
