So i have a bit of money to spend and I am debating to either get a gaming Laptop Or a console Combination. I already have a high power gaming Desktop So the laptop would be purely for when i go on vacation and as a backup pc.

I vote for a powerhouse laptop but seeing as though you already have a powerful system and the laptop in your sig looks half decent. Grab the console

    He's already got a fairly mid-end laptop.

Save your money and get a console for console-only games. High power gaming laptops aren't mobile and chew battery charges like crazy. Mobile mid-high laptop and high-end desktop is a good combo. But you've got the two already so you can always sit and watch new tech get unveiled the next few months.

I'd go with the consoles unless you see some pc games that will keep you busy awhile (say some MMOs or FPS games you'll play for many months) in the end the consoles will still be cheaper and you'll probably play more on them.

Well, you already have a high powered gaming desktop, and it appears from your sig that you have a fairly decent mobile gaming machine as well. So I'd go for a console (or two ;))

Not all three consoles...at most two. Three is overkill*10.

Consoles would be a good choice, considering you have a nice desktop. You don't have to worry about updating it and whatever. It's just a pure fun filled machine.

unless your a huge fan of 360, have a girlfriend that will play the wii with you (or kids), or want to waste money on a ps3 (sorry, not a big fan of ps3) - then get the console.

or you might not want to listen to me at all considering im not a big fan of consoles :) ... (except for the wii that i play with my girl.)

Easy question to answer. You already have a good rig to play all the new PC games, get the console combination and you will be able to play a lot more games.

theres really no point in having a laptop that you're not going to use because it's a "vacation only or backup"; and you already have a desktop to play on, so get the consoles!!
