Well, I've been having trouble picking which laptop to get to support my gaming habits, for under £600.

I'm currently using a Dell 6000, And Playing BF2 On the medium settings. Obviously this isn't suitible, and whilst it doesnt lag, It will crack under the pressure eventually, as I've already had problems with it.... I've been looking at the Acer Ferrari 4005WLMi
Laptops, and they seem to be a step up, without being to expensive on ebay. Of course, there is the risk of buying ANYthing on ebay, as it could be a dud. So buying it new would be good. I wouldn't mind buying an american laptop, with a coupon or something.. But I dunno, I'm only 12. :p

    And before you ask -

    1.3ghz Intel Centrino Processor
    512mb Ram
ATI Radeon X300 Mobility 32mb Graphics
    40gb of space (Just surviving)

    And I would LIKE -

    2ghz Intel Pentium M Processor
    1gb Ram
    Any 256mb GFX card.
    100gb Of Space.

If anyone can help, I'd be exctatic.

    Cy'all soon

You will certainly not get those specs for that cash. Try selling ur current laptop first

a 2ghz centrino is not cheap. nor is a good gfx card with 256mb.

Try looking for a laptop with an X700 with 128mb abd 1.6ghz cpu. They're pretty cheap.

Yeah, your budget is pretty limited. Not sure what you are going to be able to get for that.

Asus is going to be out of your range; I'd look for a few Fujitsu-Amilo models, some are decently priced with a dedicated graphics card.

Also, Acer has a great european lineup; give a look to a few of their models.

your best chance of getting a decent laptop is to sell ur inspiron 6000.

U can sell it on ebay and advertise it in the trading forum here at NBR
