lol, I like the idea as I just did the same thing for SF4 earlier, but problem is with ANY game the list would get too difficult to navigate I think and nobody would really know where to look or what games to look for in here.

For that reason probably best thing you can do is consolidate as much as possible into an automated system.

Things like Steam or Xfire's friends list that lets you know what game your friend is playing.

I do not use Xfire anymore but I am logged into steam often and the easiest way to get pretty much all the gaming forum members in a list is the NBR Steam gaming group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/notebookreview

Also for games for windows there is the Windows Live account that you can add one another too.

Dont forget steam lets you add non steam games to the game list.

I also have an idea that sounds cool but would require people to use it properly. With my 2nd web domain I can create an online spreadsheet that everybody can access. As a spread sheet game names can be in ABC order making them easy to find, and from there you can just post the time/name and we can tweak it as we go.

    Check it out:

Go here to submit - http://sites.google.com/a/viciouscomputers.com/main/Home/game-time-form-submission-

    *Insane Genius Laughter"

Great thing here is its easier to track, and it has a time stamp so if you just post "in 15 minutes" they can see what time that is. Plus it wont go down when NBR is down :D

Also I will later go add a filter so that all entries after they are like 24 hours old will be hidden so all the information is up to date and wont get messy like a forum thread will.

Yeah soon as you submit the form the spreadsheet is updated.

No filter for dates in google docs though so I will have to manually go delete old entries every so often.

I'll think of ways to make it better later, I think I'll create another forum on the same web page that you can submit your forum user name and all of your game aliases or something so that we have an easy way to find/add to friends lists in games.

Yeah I think you should edit first post here to explain the tool and use it or scrap the thread and let me start one.

But no worries here on what you want to do.

Ok prettied it up some, added a time zone entry and I am done with it for now. Looks like the time stamp just uses your PCs current time so we need to manually figure out time zones. I'll find a good url for that and post it inside the spreadsheet.

    Later guys.

Cool glad to see its working well and being put to use.

I'll have to think of ways to improve or add to it, like having scheduled game events and people can sign up for them to say they will be there.

This works well with games that many of us have/play like TF2.

Also I should have a way to get us all into a calender where you can sign up for an account and you can plot your best times to play and the calender will automatically tell us the optimal times to play or tell you who's time overlaps yours.

If you have any issues going directly to the spreadsheet from the link in the forum, click the form link and then use the link to the spread sheet from that page.

I think maybe NBR's referral system messes with that link as sometimes I have to click it many many times for it to work, but the link from my site works first time every time.

I'll be posting up my game times soon as I find time to play :D

I had to watch the kids all day today, and tomorrow when I get off work I am going to go straight to bed and catch up on sleep.

Bump, maybe this should be a sticky.
Because it's hard to find this thread and it's a very important thread if you look at post #6.

I would like to clean it up and post a thread dedicated to the spreadsheet but I doubt it will become a sticky even if I did that (if a mod does so desire to sticky this thread PM me so I can make a cleaner thread first please) but for now I recomend just creating a bookmark/favorite of the links, or if you want me to I can make a html file you can save to your desktop or something with the links inside of it.
