So I have a dual boot, Vista Home Premium and XP Pro, and have Guitar Hero III installed on both. I have the NVIDIA 8400M GS card in my XPS M1330 laptop, with 169.04 drivers on both Vista and XP; however, the game runs a heck of a lot better in Vista than it does in XP. Am I crazy or is that not something one would expect? I thought that running it in XP would give me a huge performance boost since Vista has problems, does anyone know why it doesn't? Are there some settings that I am missing in XP? Thanks

"huge performance boost" is only on Oblivion and/or 1GB of RAM AFAIK

The rest is about 0-10FPS difference.
