    Okay...

I am getting a new laptop for work and to play games. I am currently living in Shanghai so my choice is limited. (I want a 73jw...) I need some help and advice on what laptops I should go with. I have narrowed it down to these few. I am mostly having trouble picking the video card. All with 4 gigs ram, First three with 1366x768 screen res. Dell has the 1900x1080

    (ASUS)N53XI263SV-SL 15.6 I7 - 2630 QM with NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M
    (ASUS)N53XI72JQ-SL 15.6 I7 - 720QM with NVIDIA Geforce GT 425M
    (Lenovo)Y560AT 15.6 I7 - 740 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD5730
the last one i'm not sure about, its a bit more in price BUT:
    (DELL)XPS15 15 I7 - 740 with NVIDIA GeForce GT 435M (it also has a higher res at 1900x1080)

PLEASE any suggestions or help or advice is very appreciated and needed~!~
(again its mainly the video cards i'm not 100% sure about)

Well, I wouldn't go with Optimus, but... Well, the GT 540m is onlt a tiny bit bettwr than the 5730, and has no optimus bugs. But its up tp yoi. Can you say the pricing in dollars?

Sure I can let you know the prices. It will make me cry a little cause they are very expensive here..... There is not much difference in the price range though. I was leaning towards the 540 but they are pretty close. The 425 is the cheapest, but also has a 720 cpu...

Okay so the Lenovo does have a 32gig SSD and a 500 gig sata, but the second sata runs at 5200 not 7200. It is also the ONLY laptop on that list without usb 3.0 Plus I don't know the quality of Lenovo...

The first asus have the newer sandy bridge cpu and combined with the gt540m eats for breakfast all the other options.

Its a newer platform, with soo much raw power also the performance with those quad core optimized games and apps doesnt have rivalries.

In short words, go for it,think about being a future proof machine.

Thanks for the advice, that is what I am leaning towards anyways, I like the 540 and the SB seems to be worth it.!

It is. Those old cpus arent even comparable to it. We're talking about a 30% performance gain, and that sandy bridge cpu isnt even the best, just the entry level. Do your maths ;)

Yes, I didn't even realize the performance boost when I first made this post, it only makes sense, Plus the onboard GPU will save some extra power if i'm not plugged in.
