Hey guys. I've been looking around recently for a 22-24" LCD Monitor that I'd use for games mostly. I plan to hook my 360/wii up to it using vga cables and would also run games off my laptop through DVI. Currently I have the 1440 x900 WXGA+ screen on my Dell Inspiron e1705. Jumping to the 22"/24" monitor would boost my res to either 1680x1050 or 1920x1200 respectively.

I was wondering how capable my laptop would be at running games (Team Fortress 2, Bioshock, CoD4) at either of these resolutions. Also, if I had to run at 1440x900 or 1280x800, how bad would it look on a monitor so large?
