    Gaming on HP dv6000t

    I'm getting the dv6000t for school next fall and want to be able to play games like Oblivion. Will the 256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 combined with 2.0 ghz core 2 duo processor and 2 GB DDR2 System Memory be able to do this

    well next fall i think the dv6000 will be usurped by the dv6500 and nvidia 8 series cards which are supposed to be better but yeah it will be play oblivion

    Yeah, the dv6500 can be configured with a GeForce 8400M, which I've heard is comparable to a GeForce 7600, which would make it more feasible to play Oblivion with.

    can the dv6500 currently be configured with the GeForce 8400M, and if so is this on HP's site or somewhere else, because I only see the Intel X3100

    Not yet. Probably sometime in June the 8400M will become a configuration option.
