Hi,
I am trying to decide which notebook to buy. Right now I am leaning towards the Asus W2J notebook which has a SXGA (1680x1050) screen resolution.
I was wondering if it will be possible to play games like World of Warcraft and perhaps Oblivion in the native 1680x1050 resolution. The Asus notebook has a X1600 graphics card.
Thanks in advance.![]()

Hey Blueprint,
I have not played these games but they ask for a good videocard! Yours is great, X1600 is a very nice card, but I dont think you can run it on native with everything full.
Native with effects off should work... By the way that notebook is very cool

That's actually WSXGA resolution, SXGA is 1400x1050
As for the native resolution, I play WoW at highest on my V6va, with the x700 and it runs great
The x1600 will do much more, but as for TES:Oblivion....who knows -
Okay thanks a lot!
Will order it as soon as it is available then -

You should be fine playing WoW at WSXGA+, can't comment on Obilivion.
