So I haven't had a notebook since I sold my M1710 about 9 months ago, and I'm looking to get back in the market. I'm not looking for something near as powerful since I don't have as much time for gaming anymore, but I would like something that can play new titles relatively well, such as a TF2, not necessarily Crysis. I know about the M1530, M1330, etc, but I really came to love the docking port on my M1710, and I noticed that not even the 1730 has this anymore. I would really like the option to dock my notebook at the office to have a full keyboard, mouse, and monitor; which brings me to the Latitude line of notebooks. I know all of these have the docking port, but their graphics seem to be a bit lacking. From what I can tell, other than the Precision M6300 is there anything that is going to give me decent gaming performance? I'd like to go down both in size and price from that, but if I can't game decently then I figure I might as well just get integrated graphics. I don't need 100FPS with all settings on high, but I'd like ~40 without having to turn everything on low.

I would suggest an hp dv9000. I have one myself (dv9429us) and can run games like counterstrike on maximum settings with a great frame rate. Games like crysis dont run great but as long as you dont mind not being able to play crysis then u will be fine. i bought mine at circuit city for about 800 us.

Does the dv9000 have a docking connector? I really would like something that can connect to a docking station that has a DVI output.

I definitely recommend the Lenovo T61P with the nVidia 570M.

That's a pretty intriguing option, so I went to check them out at Lenovo's site. So I went here to price one out, but when I click on customize or whatever it doesn't come up with anything more than a 128mb NVS 140M. It is even advertised with a 570M, but I can't find it in the options for customization anywhere. What am I missing?
