4 GB DDR3 SDRAM
500 GB SATA (5400rpm)
11.6" 1366 x 768 LED Display

How would this fare for quick gaming on the go?
Knights of the Old Republic
DeathSpank
Torchlight
Fable
World of Warcraft
Any input would be appreciated...

Will run Torchlight sorta okay at low graphics. Fable also on low but may stutter. Will suffer on WoW I think. Not sure about deathspank and KotoR sorry ._.

Why not pay slightly more for a 13.3" 3820TG which is vastly more powerful machine? The 5650m would be at least 6x faster than Intel HD and you get a 2x faster CPU.
-
I agree with the above post, to have ultra-portability plus immense gaming capacities, look no further than 3820TG. Really on the present day market there's no competition (cost-performance wise) in the ultra-portable category.

I can play World of Warcraft on my laptop with only 2Gb ram so you should have no problem using yours to play World of Warcraft. No idea about the other games, though.
-
Amount of RAM isn't exactly what determines if a game runs smoothly sadly
Though it is a small factor

I think your going to have problems with those games, the speed of your cpu will hinder you more than the igp will.
Intel GMA HD can game with a more robust cpu, trust me i know becuase i have one.if you want to use the GMA HD to game you will need a faster cpu to boot....... -
I can tell you first hand 2GB for WoW is not enough, and Wotlk isn't as forgiving on the hardware as vanilla especially once you use the "must-have" addons. I bet Catalycsm will be even more stressful than wotlk to the point that a GMA HD won't cut it no matter how powerful your CPU is, let alone a slow 1.2GHz ULV chip.
-
Why dont we just say black ops will be even more stressfull,,,,,lol now where getting a little off topic here,Pretty much any game can be tweaked with the game settings,i mean come on you cant expect to run all games at max settings, not even some of the better cards can do that,so what makes ya think the intel gma hd can!.
