I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to play games on my LCD tv or if it was even possible. I've got an Inspiron 1520 if it makes any difference. I have been able to use VGA to connect to my tv and I can run movies, music, and most things on the tv when it's set as my second monitor. I can also run it fine as my main monitor with my lappy as the second. No matter what I do though, any game I start only runs on the laptop. Any ideas?

How about running the TV as the only monitor, and turning off the laptop's lcd?

Right click desktop, gfx settings, advanced-or just enable dual monitor and check mark "make this my main display thingy". O r use your Gfx driver control panel, same thingy.

hold the fn button and hit the button that switches the display mode, F8 on my comp (It has CRT/LCD written on it; you have dual, LCD only, External only options)
