I play games alot on my laptop and my laptop only has a 7150m integrated, just wondering if I play games 2-3 hours a day on this laptop if the lifetime of my hardware will be effected greatly. I have a cooler and never really overheat the graphics card by the way.

    Thanks

as long as it doesn't overheat it should be fine. it was built for stuff like that.

This is a VERY common misconception. To be perfectly clear: You will not hurt your computer by playing games on it. (Just as long as you don't overheat by doing so.)

some badly designed laptop might take damage. m15x for example. even then the laptop will just shut down itself when it's overheating, and damage should be very little.

    LOL. Exactly.

Using your laptop while in the pool or ocean would be bad.

Games are no different than any other applications or bits of software you run on your PC.

I don't know how people get this perception that gaming can harm your PC. Other than the normal wear and tear on your hard drive and electrical components, there's no worries. GAME ON!

Everything should work fine like the others said, I think if the GPU temp goes over 85C then you should be a little worried. What are your specs including graphics driver, and the O/S?
