    Are there any good wireless gaming pads out there with triggers like the xbox controllers?

    * BTW - How bad am I going to be using a gamepad over the conventional keyboard+mouse setup? I don't plan to play online, mostly story modes.

    You can buy the Xbox 360 controller made for PC. Microsoft is in the gaming peripheral market.

    Go ahead and use it for single player stuff, but you will definitely get owned by anyone with a keyboard/mouse setup.
