**Gaming section game night?**

Alright I just requested, and I'm working on setting up the dedicated server BUT it's download verrryyy slow so that probably won't be done tonight sorry guys. But ill have it ready for this holiday weekend!

 

What are you downloading? Also are there any mods in on this?

 

I'm just downloading the standalone installer for the bf2 dedicated installer. Ohh there's lots of mods for BF2

 

Ok dedicated server installed and....not working lol....I'm apparently not configuring SOMETHING right but...hrmm...don't know what.

Frustration setting in....need...to kill. Who's up for some BF2?

LOL you guys actually used my xfire idea. You guys should just join some clans for games you are good at. Thx though for the recognition.LOL>

 

we can have this group and a clan at the same time. Just use this on game nights and big game launches. And hopefully you all get mics so we can really have a party when MW2 is out.

 

iz got one already. i dont like it though, its one of the little steelseries 3g or whatever, though its nice to carry around in my backpack so i dont bother people at school

Well I'll be up for some more BF2 tonight if anyone else is game? I'm still trying to figure out this freaking dedicated server, has anyone set one up before?

 

I'm up for whenever. Just make sure that you or whoever else finally figures out how to do it PM's me the password and server name.

 

For this to work we need to get a mod on board, and have people actually create servers so that I can edit the main thread with them to attract new gamers....

 

I don't know if renting our own server would work...doesn't that require $$$?

 

Nah in CoD4 i can just host a server for us whenever we may need it. Just join our XFIRE group on the first post of this thread and contact me. I usually call it NBR Gaming. Send me a PM through XFire and i can host it.

nice guys. We have a crap load of ppl signed up now. We can use as many members as we can.

The group is getting pretty exciting with everyone playing together etc. it like XBL for PC . Just alot better lmfao.

Most of us play CoD4, its the only game i play online as well. Join the group n00d13s and you to alyh if you haven't yet.

 

So are we just sort of foregoing the gaming "days" and just making it a day to day free for all? That seems like it's making more sense for most of us.

 

I agree with that... I think it'll be pretty tough to find a time that's convenient for everyone to meet up online. I'm enjoying the 'free-for-all' day-to-day idea....seems like that's been working so far. I've already squadded up with a couple NBR members on BF2 and it's pretty fun!

DOW II? I am a bit rusty but I could be good at that game, I worked up to the point that Insane comps are a joke, but I have not really played the online.

 

i occassionally play RA3 but i suck at it. dont care for rts.

cool man. i didn't know this existed. I'm in Pacific Time and have COD (4 and 5) and.....I forgot the other ones. Now I can play on saturdays all day.
