So how many of u think Arcade/Racing games should be played on notebook with Gamepad?

I bought a gamepad.. and am currently playing NFS most wanted with that.

But theres a problem...even after enabling Rumbe/Vibration.. the Vibration feature doesnt work...

    Not me......

Racing games should be played using a wheel (preferably via a large, quality monitor, not a laptop with a gamepad)

IMO, gamepads are "adequate" for most things, but really only excel at non-FPS console style action games specifically designed around their limitations.

Everything else is better on keyboard+mouse, wheel, hotas, etc.

The best possible experience for playing racing games, methinks, would be if you hooked 3 screens together with a Matrox TripleHead2Go and a wheel controller. Failing which, 2 screens, or a single large widescreen, would do.

Certain games just "feel" better with a controller, while others seem better on a mouse and keyboard. Largely, I think you'll find that RTSes and FPSes are easiest played with a mouse and keyboard, whereas versus games and 3rd-person action slashers in the vein of DMC or God of War are great on a gamepad.
