I work at a movie theater as a projectionist and I have a lot of free time (sometimes 8-10 hours a day). Currently I'm playing single player games and watching a lot of movies.

My question is, can I play WOW with a wireless broadband card from Verizon or Sprint?
Has anyone tried this and if so which carrier should I choose since they both have a high speed tower near my work?
Is it true that if you play games with Verizon they will cancel your account?

    Thanks in advance.

Instead of answering your question, my dear sir.
May I ask where can I apply for the same job that you have?

    Thanks!

Go to any digital movie theater and apply, lol. Sadly you will only make minimum wage (in NC its $6.15).

Theoretically you could, depending on the speeds they give you, but wireless tends to have it's up and downs from time to time, the signal drops, etc...

But if that's all u got then I say go for it o_O, you could try and ask them if you can try out their service for a month or a week but I'm not sure if they'd do that.

Definatelly call Verizon and see if you can game on it, maybe they just want people to surf the web/do business meetings online?

WoW is one of the few online games that are still fun even if you have a high ping so I think it should work if you have a resenable connection.

Shelby, NC its about an hour west of Charlotte. According to the coverage maps from both Sprint and Verizon I should be able to get the highest speeds they currently offer assuming I buy a nice card. I guess I'll go to Sprint and see if they will let me give it a test run. I was just hoping someone on this forum had tried it already.

I doubt a cellular card would be good for gaming, as providers prohibit streaming data over their network.
