I no longer have a desk, and would like to be able to plug my laptop into my TV to play PC games on the big screen occasionally, when the gf is not watching tv.

Anyone tried doing any gaming with Wireless K/B and mouse from the couch? Id be about 9ft from the PC.

There seem to be some decent Logitech gaming mice out there, but Im a little concerned by the reliability of the keyboards.

I have gamed with wireless keyboard/mouse on my TV before, but i stopped only after a short while. The reason is well, sitting on the couch and clicking mouse/tapping keyboard while watching what's going on on the TV far from me is downright uncomfortable. Playing with controller in that case may make it much more enjoyable, pretty much like you game with a console.

Regarding the reliability issues you concerned, I had zero problem with mine, except that the battery in my wireless mouse seemed to drain quite fast.

    Thanks for the response.

I do understand what you mean about the comfort situation.

My options at the moment seem to be limited to a laptop (perched on my knee on the couch) - and I miss my desktop monitor already!

I use the Logitech G13 controller to replace my keyboard while gaming. Its not wireless but the cord is quite long (8 feet). At least this way you don't need to have a big keyboard (or your entire notebook) on your lap, I just have the G13 beside my left leg on the couch, mouse beside my right leg. Ah couch gaming :)

Wondering about using a wireless mouse for gaming. Looking into the Logitech VX revolution. Are these good for FPS games or do they lag?

I've been gaming using Dell bluetooth mouse and keyboard. So far I have had no problems with sensitivity; if anything, the mouse is almost too sensitive. Keyboard has maybe half a second's lag once in a while but nothing that I've noticed while gaming. My only issue is that occasionally my game freezes for a second, but I feel that I'll be able to fix this by trying something like AlacrityPc when I have time.

i'm using a wireless S510 Logitech keyboard and it's fine, but the mouse that came with it died. I had a logitech joystick and headphones which also died and they weren't cheap either.

I've used a logitech wireless mouse and keyboard (bluetooth) before, it works fine you should have no problems unless your playing competitive online FPS's.
