    Simple strategy games – sometimes mixed with a wee bit of relaxed action. Resolution wise? I don't even care enough about new years resolutions ...

    I choose option 2 because I like to play at whatever resolution I can get good FPS with at medium high/high settings. Doesn't have to be ultra high, but I like having most effects on.

    Native res for me is a killer 1920x1200. Runs most games well, but some games ill just play in 1400 res, if I have to go lower or the game looks bad stretched with that res then I just play in windowed.

    it wont look stretched if you choose a resolution with the same aspect ratio of your screen.

    1920x1200 = 16:10
    1680x1050 = 16:10
    1440x900 = 16:10
    1280x800 = 16:10

    So if you have a WUXGA 1920x1200 screen, choose any of those resolutions and it should scale perfectly to your screen... without stretches and such.

    I have had my WUXGA screen for over 3 years now, I play games in any of those resolutions and it looks perfect.

    More resolution the better, if I have to downscale for the latest games so be it. Working with 1680 16:10 widescreen works fine for me right now when surfing.

    I like native resolution. If I go lower, its only because I have to.

    Native res at high/highest settings or else ill just go into windowed mode with high/highest settings

    I just dont see the point in having the highest res. with crappy settings

    Native resolution, but when buying a laptop I always take atleast 1680x1050 on 15.4".
