How about a game of COD4 on the notebook while watching some Lost?

Of those, primarily single-player gaming. I find that in general I prefer single-player games - not because the AI is a better opponent than humans (although I have encountered people in multiplayer games who I'd rather replace with nonemotional AI's
) - but because single player games allow a much more epic scale than multiplayer ones. Games mostly Trackmania Nations Forever, Civilization III, and Medieval II, at least recently.
Multiplayer games would be second. Ideally Rock Band (see, there's a social element in there
), but stuff like Halo can be great fun, too.
DVD movies would be third. If it were theater movies and asking which of the three would I rather due for two hours, I'd definitely choose theater movies - provided there's a decent one, it's usually better than gaming (multiplayer with real-life friends being the exception).
TV fourth - I don't even own one.
Generally social events will take precedence though - it did tonight
.
Do realize of course that this poll is slightly biased due to the nature of this site. -
I used to play PC multiplayer nonstop. Between Counterstrike Source, all the WWII Call of Duties (1, UO, and 2), and Star Wars: EAW it was like a job. Then I just played the crap outta the games and my desktop gaming computer kinda got outdated and I switched to console gaming on my X360 because I found it more economical. As for hours ... when I kept track of my hours on Xfire a few years ago on Call of Duty: UO ... it was like over 250 hrs for a 3 month period ... that's the most I've ever played a game.
Gaming: How entertaining is it?
