You can make mini mods for Gmod 10 if you already know how to code in C++, make models, export, do texture work etc.

For making a server, I'm assuming your behind a router, in which case you'll want to go here, http://portforward.com/ And follow the steps shown.

Find your router, then the game, then set it up as they show, and don't forget to setup a static IP, which they show how to do there as well.

As said, you need to figure out ports and stuff...

You definitely have to make sure you have the bandwidth to do it, and im not sure at all if you can run it from GMOD... ?

Or do you need to setup a seperate server like for those steam tools?

    Full fledge mods? Good luck
Mini mods? Minor coding required... but still...

    Mods meaning,
for example in making a maze, i would like to put a start point and and endpoint with npc to attack. But if i make the mini mod i wouldnt want other players removing the textures using and the remover tool or just going to noclip (which makes them see everything) That would make this mini mod usless. Like i dont want to create a map.
And what do you mean minor coding, for what?

Thats called a map with spawn points...

    You can lock textures etc...

How do you can to create a mod... WITHOUT creating a map... !?

Minor coding to create mini mods...

    how can i lock textures?
Its not like a mod though. Just saying i want to create a maze on gm_flatgrass which is an open area, and build for example wood for the the paths of the maze. thats all and also make npc or enemies attack at certain locations :)

If you don't want to make a map, then find objects that would work, such as the large red shipment containers, spawn one, then use the duplicator tool to place them, then weld them all to each other and hold one of them to the floor with the phys gun. Then turn off AI, and place your enemies throughout your maze, turn back on and enjoy. But seriously, the game is about creativity, you should mess with it and figure these things out for yourself..

And if you don't want other people messing with your stuff or changing the texture then download an admin mini mod, there's many out there on www.garrysmod.org

Yeah basically what your trying to do is just create something and then save it as a game save?

Im not sure what to save it as etc...?!

But yeah, Creativity is key ;)
