    Garry's Mod crash on startup *x3100*

    I just bought a new Gateway laptop with pentium duo core, 2gb ram, intel GMA x3100. My laptop plays HL2 fine but when i try to play garry's mod it crashes when i try to starta single player game. Anyone know what the problem is?

    Right Click on gmod in the games menu on steam. Click properties, goto set launch options... . Enter " -dxlevel 81" minus the " s.

    I had same problem untill yesterday, hope this helps. I registered just to post this as it really made me mad when I couldn't play it.
