Hi guys, is there a way to utilize my 2 cores for garrys mod. Does it support multicore rendering, any tips to make it run better?

Garry's Mod 10 uses an older version of the Source engine, which doesn't support multicore rendering. Basically, Garry himself would have to be the one to make that work, not you.
