I've read all the threads on the forum here, and can't seem to find an answer.

    So...

does anyone know if BF2 supports the GeForce Go 6150?
If it does, how does it perform with low-medium settings?

    Thanks!

Sorry but I dont think you have an icebergs chance in hell of having a playable BF2 with the 6150, its integrated buddy, and its not much better then GMA950.

I really don't think you'll be able to play it. Even at low it'll be to slow.

No, to play BF2 good you'll need atleast a 7400/X1400.

Not true. Even the Go6600's work fine with Battlefield 2. I have seen the Alienwares with Go6600's in them run BF2 with pretty good performance.

Well yeah, I really ment 7400/X1400 or X600/6600, basically the same performance, excpt the 7 and X14 are the newer versions so they're a little better. But those are as low as I would go.

Yes it can play it. Contrary to what everyone is saying, even my old 200M could do it. (low settings 800x600) A 6150 is slightly better than the 200M, so it should be no problem.

And by playing it, I mean 20-25fps.

Right, I was just clearing that up a little. No problem.

The Go6600 is actully faster than the Go7400/X1400.

There are a lot of people that play BF2 with lower-end cards like the Radeon X300 and GeForce Go6200; not at the best settings of course, but the game is still playable.

BF2 is easily playable on the 6150 and the X200m, and above the lowest settings too.

The GeForce 6150 is a heck of a lot better than the GMA 950 and shoudl be able to play BF2. Those who say otherwise have not tried it before. And also, the 6150 is slightly better than the X200M, unless you have the one with dedicated memory.

The most important factor in playing BF2 besides the video card is RAM. You need 2GB for it to run smoothly. On my desktop w/ Nvidia 7800GTX it stuttered like crazy w/ 1GB RAM, and only after the upgrade it worked great with all settings except AA maxed out (1600x1200) (AMD 4400 X2).

RAM does indeed make a large difference, due to the amount of resources that the game needs to load during gameplay. I've even noticed a significant performance increase by freeing up about 100MB of RAM (currently only using 1GB), by turning off Aero glass and a bunch of extra processes in Vista.

Having 2gb would not make an ounce of difference with the 6150 - you'd be playing with textures and everything on low, so 1gb would be more then enough.

I have to disagree. My x200m cannot run BF2 at remotely playable fps. We're talking 10-15fps with major lagging. Ones with dedicated will perform better and so will the 6150 but not by a great deal. To garuntee playability I'd go for an X1300/go 7300 level card at least.

We've had this discussion before (jess_paws? :D) - I had a Sempron 3000+, 1Gb Ram, and X200 - I was able to run BF2 on all low settings at easily above 30fps. Granted it looked like absolute trash but - it ran smoothly.
