    GeForce 7400 vs. Radeon X1400

    Both cards have 256MB of Video RAM, which card is better?

    For gaming i would say the x1400 since it has a 128-bit bus compared to the 64-bit bus in the 7400.

    What games do you plan to play. For fps games i recommend at least an x1600/7600 which are 2x better then the x1400(its a midrange/lowend card).

    The 64 bit bus doesn't make any real difference in cards that weak anyway, as you're not going to be playing at either high re or with AA or AF on - realistically - they perform virtually the same.
