With the announcement of Nvidia's GeForce 8800 GT, how long till we see an 8800m GT?

The card is a lot smaller and cooler than the current 8800s, not to mention faster and/or cheaper. To me it seems like it won't take much to turn it into a mobile card.

I've got a laptop on back order with the 8700m in it. Does anyone think that the 8800m will be out soon enough that I should cancel and wait for it?

We will be getting more info on this in November. If you can wait, then wait.

Most probably we will only see the 8800m on the market by 2008...even if it´s launched in November, there will be some time until it´s available for the manufacturers, and then some time until they launch notebooks with it...
