Are you asking whether there are laptops sold with a single 485M? Yes, there are a few laptops available with this card, such as the Sager NP8150
Sager NP8150-S1 (Built on Clevo P150HM) Custom Gaming Sager Notebook -
You can check at Rjtech.com or contact any other reseller, they might have a spare parts for sale. Ebay is too overpiced... Don't forget an SLI bridge for your system aswell)

Thanks for the tip. So the SLI version is a DYI and not sold by the manufacture? So one would have to buy 2 GTX 485 plus an SLI bridge and put them together? Sorry, I'm a total novice when it comes down to this.

What machine are you looking to put it in? -
I dont really recommend SLi for NB´s. Its expensive, loud, needs much power, unusable for mobile working and there are mIcRosTuTtErInG problems. Thats my experience wich i made with the 9800gtm SLi cards.

9800 series is generations old and is no longer a valid reference point.

I was thinking for an M6600. Sounds like it might be too much trouble and get too hot. Thanks everyone for the input.

Sager NP7282 can do SLI GTX 485m or Crossfire 6970m. In any case it's two cards, requires two MXM slots. This laptop is a true desktop replacement machine that contains a desktop CPU. Not really a laptop per se, just a small desktop with a built in screen.

if you look at the customization options for the M6600, you can only choose between single video card configurations, it should not be possible to use dual video cards in this machine.
