Hello, i currently have a x200m integrated card. it is pretty impressive but i have a chance to own my friends vaio. Now world of warcraft and bf2 are very important games to me and i need to know if a GeForce Go 6200 with TurboCache and 128 megs of memory can do it.
Does any1 with this card know of its capabilities? Frame Rates? Ect?
Any input would be great!![]()

Its just a tad bit better than the express 200m
-
they might just scrape in on low settings. however you would probably want a 7400/x1400 minimum.
-
WoW, I think you might be able to play at medium easily. BF2 low, if that.
-
i had a vaio with a go 6200 and was able to play wow and bf2.. pretty decently actually.
-
I used to have Geforce Go 6400 in my S series sony vaio. I was quite surprised with the performance. Was able to play BF2 at 1280x720 with details set to medium. Plays doom3 quite smoothly as well. Its 3.0 shader perfromance is weak thou and can't run F.E.A.R at any acceptable settings.

currently with my x200 i am able to play wow and fear and bf2 with nice settings. So if your saying the 6200 is slightly better than the x200 then im set!!! but im still open to hear what others have to say about their 6200's!

masterchef341 The guy from The Notebook
for bf2, you should probably get like a 7400 or x1400 (or ideally an 8400)
but, if you are happy with the x200, you might as well keep playing on integrated *cringe*
buy an xbox? -
already did lol.

any more constructive comments besides telling me to get a 7400 or an xbox!

Seriously, you should be able to play most games at low settings. -
I can run FEAR pretty well on low settings.
BF2 is playable on 32/16 player maps.
Any game from 2005 and before can be played pretty well. -
just read a review on the card. It was able to play bf2 medium 800x600 extremely smoothly, and when over clocked it would beat the hell out of it (medium) So i am extremely confident it will destroy WoW.
-
i have an x200 also, but i can't play fear even on lowest settings, and overclocking the little thing. lol

I was surprised by the performance of the 6150, so the 6200 should be evem better. It handled the newer Tomb Raiders at full resolution and high graphics settings (though no AA) with no problem, and FSX was also perfectly acceptable at medium settings.
There's a good 20% boost to be had if you overclock it using nVidia's tuning software, which made no difference to stability or heat output on my dv2000.
GeForce Go 6200..What Can it DO?
