    Anybody tried combining these two?

I've seen some trailers for ArmA (sequel to operation flashpoint) on youtube and it looks incredible.. but has anybody tried running it on a Go 7400 or 7600?

How would a midrange card like a 7400 handle it?

Users with Go7400 and X1400 having trouble running the game, even on low settings, it's poorly optimised. I'd hold off to be honest, if you have a decent desktop? Otherwise, yes it will work, but not great.

With the latest 1.05 patch, performance has improved greatly. I reckon you'll be able to play it @ 800x600, Low settings.

Unfortunately, HDR is still un-turn-off-able. Same with the grass, those are the killers.

Runs Acceptably on my SZ90PS with a Geforce 7400 go if you lower the settings like the following configuration:

720x400 (W) resolution, Terrain Detail Low, Objects Detail Low, Texture Detail High, Shading Detail Low, Postprocess effects Low, Anisotropic Filtering Normal, Shadow Detail Low, Antialasing Disabled, Blood High.

Unfortuantly lower resolutions make it harder to see enemies in the distance and in this game it can mean the difference between life and death. Its playable i guess but you won't be able to see most of the new graphics in game.

Well i have to admit sometimes enemy soldiers on the horizon look more like a bunch of dots on screen. Usually go for the machine guns or bazzokas so not really aiming anyway. I know i killed him if the dot stops moving :p But yeah i`d probably say a geforce 7600 go would be minimum.

It is an extremely unoptimized game for the graphics it has.

i tried the demo. my plans to buy it ended there.

Like I said, the latest patch helps things greatly. My X1400 plays it at 1280x800, Very Low settings comfortably.

Will I play Armed Assault on my Mobility X1600 and the game works fine at these settings:

At these settings(Mid-high) I get good FPS, I can even push it higher, but I'll get quite a drop in FPS. I think on a Go 7400 you'll be able to run the game on low(some medium) settings fairlly well. But its important to have a lot of ram and a good CPU as will.
