    Good thing I wasn't using 397.31 lol...

    Will try these when I get home lol, still using 397.40 (Vulkan beta)/old branch

    Nvidia worded that wrong, really. When they say removed they mean unloaded. I have this issue on my GTX 1060 where DirectDraw Acceleration and AGP Acceleration in dxdiag shows disabled after my system has been idle for a while, Disabling the card in device manager then re-enabling it fixes the issue.

    Is that problem just for the 1060 GPUs? I haven't really had any issue(s) that I know of.

    I never noticed the driver unload myself, but I applied this hotfix driver anyway. I wonder if they were talking about web based Netflix stuttering or an app. I haven't notice that either, though I use Edge (it has a use!) for Netflix anyway as it's the only way to stream 4K.

    Chrome is THE WORST for video, you can't even stream 4K YouTube without dropping tons of frames. Firefox and Edge are fine.
    EDIT: I guess I need to stand corrected on this, it looks like 4K 60FPS YouTube is dropping minimal frames in Chrome now, it used to drop a high percentage of them. Even 1080p/60 was dropping tons of frames. As recently as a couple weeks or so ago I had to use Firefox to watch a bunch of videos I wanted to see that were 1080p/60 because Chrome was dropping tons of frames and FF was fine. Maybe this driver fixed that or the most recent Chrome 66 update.. I would imagine Edge may still be the only way to get 4K Netflix due to DRM.

    So, it seems it is still a problem, but if I switch to fullscreen and back it goes away. Some weird bug with Chrome I suppose..

    Back when I was debugging it previously, I tried every chrome flag involving video playback, gpu, etc.. I could find. Also tried an extension to force mp4, as it's supposed to be a vp9 issue. Shrug.
