Thanks. So far BF:Hardline seems more stable, no crashes. But I'll reserve further judgement after a few more rounds.

Glad I could help... This driver is also the 1st driver ever to let me have any sort of stable OC on the 880m see if it helps with OCing

you got me interested there! Really 880m OC stable....?

    What clocks you game on?

I usually play it with +30Mhz on core clock only using EVGA Precision X.

I'm interested in what you are pulling with the 880m as well. Mine worked as advertised so I didn't push to get a different card though I am really disappointed in how hot my P170SMA gets. I run mine all the time at -38MHz with a voltage set to -37.5mV through inspector using svl7's modded vbios. I clean it once a month every 2 weeks depending on if I'm home.

This is kinda interesting...I get my 880m running at 1023Mhz core clock with max temp. of 82C.

So what do you mean it works as advertised???

Sometimes I see in some games the gpu clock goes all over the place.....like 1023, then 990, then 1000, then 954, then go back to 980.

However, I use EVGA precision X with Nvidia inspector to keep the clock steady.

    Is that the case????

I run it with +47 on the core & +500 on the memory ... The memory part helps in games that are very memory intensive like Dying Light ... That game pulls 3.5-4 gigs vRam on FHD res & high settings/low shadows

    P.S. I just don't like shadows :D

Well I might be a little over protective of my investment, I really don't like to see temps above 90C. The stock vbios would usually hit between 87-89. So pulling voltage and running it constant at 954 only took away 21 points in Heaven's benchmarking matrix. I'm just talking within the scope of Heaven with the fans on automatic. I don't have any others installed at this time. I do have to be mindful of my settings just so I'm not sitting at 85+ for prolonged periods of time.

@ thesilent85 Are you on a modded vbios? What laptop model do you have? I'd be curious what you would see settings being the same in Heaven.

My experience with this card, is that there isn't really anything to gain through overclock. Maybe I'm being limited by my enclosure, I can't be certain. This is my first socketed laptop so that I could somewhat future proof. I couldn't justify some of the crazy pricetags for what else was out there.

You really need to apply a good thermal paste

What I noticed from ur pics is that ur max stock voltage is lower than mine actually ... not much but still lower ... mine is 1.006V

    I have a SAGER P150SM with 4810MQ.

I have modded the lower part of the laptop and opened the fan intake on the plastic part.

This gave me -10C of temp on the GPU. and no I use the Nvidia official bios and drivers.

overclocks help a lot on this card. 5-10 extra fps depending on this card. you just need to crank the fans to max and use a cooler so it's not worth it

I will try to repaste today or tomorrow. Besides IC Diamond, what would be the second recommendation? This driver has crashed a few times on me since yesterday in Elite Dangerous as well.

Gelid GC Extreme... it's actually slightly better and much easier to take off if you have to repaste again..

Strange...I had no issues with this driver...However I have noticed that the clock is more stable, rather than jumping when the temp. reaches 80C

Sorry for bumping thread but want to notify.
Yesterday I set Nvidia GPU to work for Firefox and soon I had severe FF crashes and different GUI bugs. And for some reason Nvidia CP didn't let me change it back to Integrated, I set but CP didn't keep settings.
Had to delete and install earlier 347.71. I don't trust 350 Series drivers at all now, especially having old Kepler card which possibly can be a target for gimping.
