Minimum system requirements are a 2GHz AMD or a 2.4GHz Intel single-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and an Nvidia 6600 or ATI X700 video card. 12 gb of HD and vista or xp of course.

No recommended specs have been released.

I would think it will perform similar to Unreal Tournament III, which would be good if you have a recent video card.

    sweet mother 12 gig?

I already played it for 360 but might actually look into buying it for PC because it was a great game (and I have yet to experience the multiplayer).

i,ve got a 2ghz t7300 with an 8400m gs that can run ut3 pretty smoothly at low settings so hopefully it'll do the same with gears.

i think gears may be a bit more stressful if you plan on maxing it out or playing on high settings than ut3 only b/c i own gears and have the ut3 demo and i find the shadowing and environments in gears much more detailed.

also, just the level of detail present in the 3rd person view of your own character is reason enough that the game might require a beefier system on high settings. It should scale well though like ut3 and other unreal engine games (except for rb6 vegas)

    just my .02

no, the UT3 demo was only half of the game's actual graphics, and that was to make the demo's file size alot smaller, it will infact look better than GEARS of WAR. Oh and in UT3, you can go third person, and it doesn't lower your FPS at all since it already renders your charactor.

Also, R6 Vegas was actually run on an earlier version of the Unreal engine 3, it was unoptimised, and created to run exclusively for the xbox360 which is why it ran so horrible on everything else.
