    I keep getting the 163.44 driver warning, tried to download the the driver, but it says not matching hardware. I think there is something different you have to to do to update LAPTOP drivers.

    Can someone help me with this? This is my first Windows laptop, please explain it to me like I'm a 3rd grader.

    I have the 256 GeForce 8600 GT.

    im not sure..when i used the intel driver for X3100 it says that too. the dell CSR said that dell hardware is specific and can only use the dell drivers
