    Hey guys,

when I try to install gears of war I get an error stating " The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows your running. Check your computers system information to see whether you need a 32 bit or 64bit version of the program "

I have vista 64 installed which is the obvious problem, but after googling people with the similar system only face problems when the game crashes, not during installation. What do I have to do to get this running?

This game was as buggy as hell on Vista 32 and I couldn't even get it to install on XP. There are massive threads on the Epic forums about issues and possible solutions for installing this game.
