as I just noticed, the new Toshiba U500 (13 inch notebook) now comes available with a Geforce 210M. It used to come with a Radeon 4570.

I havent seen many benchmarks of the 210,so I was wondering how these cards compare? If the 210 is better, wouldnt that place the U500 at the top of the 13 inch graphics list?

210M is worse than HD 4570. Next time, search the forum first. In the last week alone, there have been 2 dedicated threads asking the same question.

Go easy on the man. Not all threads are easily discoverable with search, and a lot of times people whine to me to search, and its buried in a thread that's over 100 pages.

I didn't mean to sound harsh, it's just that a lot of questions are repeated on the forums. If he said I tried searching and couldn't find anything, I wouldn't have brought it up.

Not to mention there's a thread with the title "Most GPU questions answered". Mind you, that thread isn't stickied so it can be hard to find, but I suppose it just gets a bit irritating when there's a place to post these questions and you see 3 threads with the same question outsie that thread lol :p

The GPU thread should be stickied and there should be a "GPU comparrison element" added to the title so people know that's where to ask.

I've posted here and read here for a long time (see my post count). I find it hard at times to find things, unless I've actually been reading most of the posts in that section and recall it was there. The search engine for one takes forever, and also forces a wait period.

You may notice the posts but someone that isn't here frequently does not.

Point taken, just give the newbs / low posters a little break.

Ive always been against big "ask questions here" threads. You got 20 people asking questions and maybe 2 of them gets answered, then you end up digging through pages of posts to realize yours wasnt one of them.

Right. But sgogeta4 did leave you with a reasonable link. Hopefully that helps.

not really, the only references made in the thread were to notebookcheck and theres no benchmarks for the 210 on there. Everything else is "we think the 210 is slower but not sure"

Go to Toshiba forum and post to see if anyone has a U500 w/ either GPU and see if you can get benchmarks. Just make sure you get complete system specs since certain benchmarks can be skewed by the other components.
