I have an Inspiron 9300 with a Geforce 6800 Go (non-ultra) and was curious as to what version this graphics card has. Under the technical specifications, Nvidia has stated for the Geforce 6 series: "Full OpenGL support, including OpenGL 2.0."

Everest Pro however states the OpenGL version is 1.5. I contacted Nvidia and got a response that didn't even answer my question, telling me to update the drivers... yet they're already XG 84.37 v2.40s. Anyways, if anyone knows the answer this question, it would just be nice information to know as well as solve some confusion for me.

    It's 2.0 Open GL.

Thanks for the info, as Nvidia sure doesn't do the best job in their customer information, and so it's great be able to ask a question here without worrying about the question of whether my drivers are up to date and blah blah blah.

Actually, I think it's a case that the 6800 will support OpenGL 2.0 at the hardware level (it's programmable after all) but the current drivers only support 1.5... I wouldn't worry about it, last time I checked the number of apps using 2.0 were pretty much zero.
