Please help me. The card itself is not broken because my m1210 still works just fine, but for some reason I suddenly can't load any games or do other things I'm used to doing with it.

World of Warcraft says "... was unable to start up 3D acceleration. Please make sure that Direct X 9.0c is installed and your video card drivers are up to date."

So, skeptically, I 'updated' DirectX and made sure my video card drivers were up to date, even though the computer is only about 5 months. Still no dice. Desperately I set my BIOS and my nvidia control panel back to factory defaults, because thats the only thing I think I might have messed with, but no dice.

Perhaps related, I can't display with my monitor-out jack to projectors anymore, or to my tv.

Please help? I figured this belonged here more than the Dell forum.

Try reinstalling the video drivers. I know that you hear this all the time but to no avail, but I had a problem with a game of mine and I reinstalled the drivers, and it worked perfectly. Make sure to uninstall in safe mode and then reinstall in normal boot mode. Hope this helps.

Something fairly close to that happened to my desktop a couple days ago. I checked the device manager and it had yellow exclamation points next to my video card. Reinstalled the drivers and everything is back to normal. I guess drivers can just randomly corrupt.
