    Alright, both are great cards. One is geared towards gamers and is incredibly popular at the moment -even with its successor here. The other is geared towards digital artists. both cards are similar with one having a different firmware. But when it comes down to it which is better and why, excluding price of course?

    first of all its the 8800m GTS, or the 8700m GT, big difference but im not sure....and obv the gaming card , forget the quadro your just wasting money if your not doing CAD, heavy graphical calculations, etc. They are exactly the same card, they are just geared towards different things

    ok, go for the gaming card, like i said forget the quadro, it is in no way better at all for gaming, same thing. Save your money...and upgrade the ram or HDD or something else instead, or just save money
