Can somebody tell me what Fx stands for and how it affects the go 6600??
I saw it on a Toshiba Qosmio laptop with 2.0 Pentium M. Is this a better gaming laptop than the Asus A8Js???

got a link? I am pretty sure the FX tag was only used during the 5000 series.

I believe you're right. That's why I was surprised to see it in a store this morning. I guess that clears my confusion. Thanx

I doubt it, the Quosmio is an entertainment laptop rather than a workstation.
I bet they just got mixed up, FX hasn't been used since the GeForce 5 series.
And it's not a better gaming laptop with a 2GHz P-M and a Go6600 than the A8JS in your sig, it's much worse.

It's obviously a typo as posted. I wouldn't touch a laptop with a Pentium M at this time. It is outdated and will struggle with newer applications, especially if you load Vista.
