    What are the differences between Geforce Go GPU and Geforce GPU?
    Because I saw Geforce Go 9600M GT and Geforce 9600M GT recently.

    They are completely different, one for desktop and one for notebooks. Performance is (probably) radically different between the two for that reason alone.

    Nope. I saw it on my friend's laptop.
    It is Nvidia Geforce Go 9600M GT 512MB DDR2.
    While I saw another laptop on the market with Nvidia Geforce 9600M GT 512MB DDR2. With the "M" there, it is 100% Mobile GPU.
    So, one for desktop and one for laptops is out of topic.
    Or maybe the Laptop write wrongly?

    Usually it's just a typographical thing. There isn't any difference. "Go" was the label they used before the 8 series, which they then switched to "M". I remember some companies calling their cards the "Go 8600GS" and such.

    The "Go" moniker was dropped after the 7 series. Mobile 6 and 7 series cards were called the Geforce Go 7x00.

    Thanks for the answer. Just now, I was roaming around Google. I saw 7-series or older series Nvidia GPUs used the Go word and without M word behind. I thought those are Desktop GPUs. But after reading the information from you guys, everything is clear now. Thanks.

    Now instead of Go, they use M in the end of name.
    Say, Geforce Go 7950 GTX now Geforce 280M.

    Yeah, like they said, the Go is just a typo if it's an 8x00M series or later notebook GPU.
