    Hi guys,
I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 with an integrated Geforce Go 7150M. I decided to install XP and now the video card shows it has only 256 MB RAM. How do I increase the maximum shared memory to 559 as it was under Vista?
And also, if I increase the dedicated memory under BIOS to 128 MB, would that make a difference?
    Thanks

You can't increase dedicated memory because it is not shared; it is discrete memory meant for the GPU alone. Increasing shared memory may just be a Vista driver capability. Try looking through your BIOS settings. If you don't find anything there, go to your desktop>Properties>Settings tab> advanced. Look for an option there.
