    Hi,

    My stock speeds are 450/350
Has my card been underclocked as most cards I see have double memory clock. Will my laptop be ok if I OC it to 490/1000?
Also whats the highest anyone has clocked this GFX card?

you will have to overclock and see if you machine can take it..each computer is different..only way to be sure is if you test it yourself. you might get that high, you might not even get to 460/400...you might not even get to 451/351..it depends on your computer..

Keep in mind, your card may not be displaying the memory speed in Double Data Rate (DDR). So in that case 500mhz=1000mhz.

I dected optimal frequecy settings at it oc to 484/450 and I got 3898 marks in 3Dmark05 while before I got 3780 with 480/380 speeds. If I use the opimal settings then will I get any problems?

you wont see any right away, but you might later on..it depends on how well your computer can handle it...i have heard of computers/GPU losing their overclock, and not being able to reach as high..but it should be fine..just keep monitoring your temperatures.

You'll need to stress test it. Run 3DMark looping overnight and make sure there's no artifacts or stability issues. If you don't have the pro version, run rthdribl.
