    A hotfix to a hotfix.
    Has this ever happened before?

GeForce hotfix display driver version 496.98 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 496.76.

The hotfix addresses the following issues:
    • [YouTube]: The YouTube web site randomly displays extreme contrast/gamma while idle or during video playback. [3420164]
    • [Notebook]: Black screen may be observed on some Optimus notebooks with 1440p/165hz panels when in discrete GPU mode [3426730]
    • Games do not launch correctly on GeForce GTX 750 Ti when NVIDIA Image Scaling is enabled [3442778]
    • Using Adaptive Vertical Sync while G-SYNC is enabled may result in random black screen [3437003]
    • [Red Dead Redemption 2/Doom Eternal]: The game crashes with TDR or the system crashes while running the game. [200766423]

Yup. Winduhz Updates are patches to patch the patched patch. Now that the Green Goblin is smooching their booty as an official DCH Nazi, it only stands to reason. Stupidity is highly contagious, so we can probably expect to see more of it... probably will become status quo, because now they are carriers of the disease.

YAY! This was the only fix that mattered to me, they really screwed up releasing it with this issue. Downloading!

Yep, and the Hotfix 2.0 started where HF 1.0 ended :D New/same bugs. New doesn't help. All they end with is new buggy drivers that will stirr up more gamers. All play the Redmod patch lottery game nowadays. Fix something then break other things......

More mess from Nvidia... Geforce 497.09 graphics driver released. Supports the GeForce RTX 2060 12GB. Yep old card re-hashed with more vram than 3080 and on level with 3080 Ti. Can't beat that?

There's also 3090 Ti rumored with 21Gb/s GDDR6X and 40 series coming "sooner than expected". Probably end up just being good cards hardly anyone can buy for less than 2-3x what they should be.
