The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

First off this is not a personal giveaway thread.

Regularly some popular PC game sites or magazine runs a promo that enables you get a FREE FULL Game by doing something they need like register an account, subscribe to their site (even subscribing by trial mode enables you to get the free game), etc.

If you know something like this, please share your blessing and post it here.

Right now here's what I know:

King Arthur - The Role-playing Wargame

King Arthur - Exclusive FREE Game!

What you need to do: Register an IGN Prime account. You can register as a free trial for 7 days and still get the free game. Once you register, you'll get a key that you can use to download the game via Steam. After getting the key you could immediate cancel your subscription without any charge to you.

    ---

    Sanctum - Various DLC

    Sanctum

What you need to do: Same thing as above, register a free trial account and get the key then immediately cancel.

    ---

    Burnoutâ„¢ Paradise: The Ultimate Box

What you need to do: First off you need to have valid UK IP Address for this to work for you. If you're outside UK now but you're a valid UK residence you could use a free VPN like expat shield to login to ORIGIN and get the free game. Okay now that you have a UK ip address, login to ORIGIN client using your account search for Burnout Paradise, add the game to your cart, checkout select Paypal as your payment option input your UK Address then on the promo code enter "PARADISE" without quotes then continue. You'll receive an email confirmation from ORIGIN that your free purchase was successful now go back to the ORIGIN client and download the free game then play it!

    ---

I'll be updating this thread, so if you know any other legal way to get a free game out there please post it here.

    Dungeon Defenders >>>>> Sanctum x1000

I own and play both, well played both since I dont play Sanctum anymore.

Free is good, but spend $15 on DD you wont regret it if your into the genre.
