I just got a key and downloading the file tommorrow when its released better hurry to get one before they run out

Man I need a key! I have the beta installed but cant play! I really cant believe someone said the game cripples a 260m, If thats the case I'm gonna be bummed out. Don't know what to think about that considering it runs on a xbox 360.

The site in post 7 is so backed up right now it wont load. Gonna keep looking.

 

quick note, when entering your KEY, make sure you manually insert the hyphens or it wont register.

are people just ignoring me...or they just dont wanna read?? i've posted the links to keys and 3 people have just said "dam, i want a key"...the link has it...

Yeah that link it toast, the website loads but when you enter your email it doesnt do anything but continuously load.

 

weird...worked fine for me

the website loaded slow, you just need wait like 1 minute for the email to be sent. It actually said loading on mine when i clicked it, but i checked my hotmail and it was there.

It isn't just hotmail fyi. I just got mine with a yahoo, didn't even realize it. Stupid email gets so much spam it showed up as the 4th on the list.

 

There's no more keys available from GameArena.

 

I got to the site, it is slow, but after hitting the button twice and then refreshing and trying once more it said "keep trying, we're getting hammered" . I hit the button again and it's still trying to load. hope it works.

EDIT: if that doesn't work, I found a link to fileplay.net and they are giving out keys. Right now it is only for subscribers, but it says they are trying to get more and to keep checking.

 

Is the beta up now? Can't seem to join a game. And client crashes when it tries looking for servers.

 

The only way to play right now is the join now option, the server browser is broken. That link in post 7 finally came through for me just give it a while. Thanks guys! nbr comes through again, I wouldnt have found that key otherwise.

I get stuck at "Loading..." whyyyy!

 

If it keeps saying that for a long time, without the 'getting hammered' message, then you still may have got the key. Said that for me but I checked my junk mail folder and it had shown up.

It took me about 30-45 mins of constant checking for the link in post 7 to finally give me a key. I suggest you guys do this while playing something or doing something unproductive because it is annoying as hell checking over and over.

 

"Loading" for about 10mins I tried refreshing, but nothing in my e-mail/junk box yet.

 

YEAH!, after trying out the link in post 7 every 10-20 minutes for the last few hours (except for about 45 min), the page loaded up fast. Tried over and over again, and nothing happened, again tried IE instead of firefox and got the email right away! Thanks

 

you can download the game from many sites. I tried like 7 mirrors but finally got one with a good speed.

to get the key http://www.myinternetservices.com/ works. you just need to keep trying. I like 10 keys in 5min.

Confirmed what nood13s says, except it did not work with my yahoo account, but my hotmail received it right away.

 

gmail works great. it's really easy just keep trying.

Yes I got a key just use safari no wait needed. It's faster just installing safari.

 

Hopefully my measly dual core can handle.

 

From the looks of it this game is heavily optimised for quads. Post your results so we can compare a few configurations.

 

just tried it on chrome, gave me a "no more keys available message"

my other 3 browsers are still loading though, I tried chrome last so we'll see if I get any keys...

 

Definately playable with medium settings and 1024x768 resolution

9600m gt
4gb ram

not sure about frames but I'm guessing 20-30 fps so it's barely worth playing.
There is huge lag, but I think that can be fixed in the final release.

Biggest complaint I can't crawl

 

Yeah they took out prone to avoid dolphins but it seems ok to me so far. Took me a few rounds but I definatly think this feels like a battlefield game. The only thing thats underwhelming is the lack of gadgets. It seems to have less the BFBC1. Guess they will be adding more later or something, I miss the goggles that could lock onto enemy vehicles and drop a missle on them.

 

second its completely playable at 1280x720 resolution with low shadows and effects 2x aa 16xaf and medium textures and details. My d901c is at the office so only testing on my 1722. cpu is at 2.65ghz and gpu is overclocked to 9700m gt clocks. The lack of prone is rather annoying and the servers seem to lock up once in a while.

 

I managed run it on medium settings on my HD4570 about 20-23 FPS but its drops to like 16 FPS when there is a lot of action on the screen. So far the game is pretty epic but one gripe about it that you cant prone. But remember this its only a BETA so its not the full game and hopefully the final release wont be too demanding on most systems since its also being released on consoles as well and hopefully all of the problems in the BETA will be fixed

 

Eh it seems like the shafted the recon kit, the zoom is pathetic for the range of these maps.

Game settings

Texture/detail/effects: medium
Shadows: Low
1x AA/AF
No vysnc and that other thing below it

I get around 28-30 fps with those settings

I really hope its better optimized in the final release

Other than that, i think i crashed a heli about 4 times in a row trying to take off. Hooray.

 

yah I died a few times while trying to get my settings setup for the helicopter. I wouldn't expect the game to be anymore optimized for released, at this point its really up to drivers.

 

I hope they fix the bugs, since this beta is full of them.
very promising game indeed. I really appreciate the beta. maybe this will make me buy EA games again.. or not...

damn i missed that thanks, i was expecting to be playable at these settings but wanted to ask u how do you like graphics with your settings? does it look pretty amazing ? i mean there are probably settings you would get on 360 as i can play all the games like mw2 or batman on highest sometimes with AAx2 but shadows down.. thanks m8
